Extent of Disaster Management Program Implementation and Prepared-ness Level in Selected Public Secondary Schools in Zambales, Philippines

The research aimed to assess the implementation of various components disaster management programs including Vulnerability Assessment, Planning and Preparedness, Institutional Framework Coordination, Resource Management Allocation, Early Warning Systems, Response Mechanisms Emergency Operations, Public Education Training Disaster Drills Exercises. Additionally, study determine level preparedness among school personnel students, identify any significant differences in program schools, explore relationship between preparedness. data collection involved surveys, questionnaires, interviews with principals, teachers, learners during third quarter 2016-2017 year. sample consisted six gathered were analyzed using appropriate statistical tools.The findings indicated that most activities implemented schools within Zone IV, contributing an effective programs. Teachers moderately prepared planning warning system but showed other areas such as vulnerability assessment, preparedness, institutional framework coordination, resource allocation, early systems, response mechanisms emergency operations, public education training drills exercises. Similarly, students displayed moderate aspects. Overall, IV considered for potential disasters their community school.
